If you continue to have problems with the Order Blank, just fill out what you can and click "Submit". I'll email you to confirm order details.

1. How much do your stock sticks cost?
The complete stock stick price, NOT including shipping, is based on the specific grip you choose. Stock stick grips are priced either $20.00 or $25.00 as noted on the GRIPS page by each grip. This includes grip, stick shaft, and vinyl end cap. Shipping is then calculated on your delivery address that you enter on the Order Blank. Once I receive a complete Order Blank, I will email you a free complete price quote that is locked in for 15 calendar days. The quote also includes information on payment methods and estimated production time and delivery time. There is no obligation for the price quote.
2. How do a build my custom stock stick?
Step 1: Click on the "Grips" page and select your grip.
Step 2: Click on the "Stick Color" page and select your stick color.
Step 3: Determine what Length you want your custom stock stick.
Step 4: Go to the "Place Your Order" page and complete the Order Blank.
Step 5: Click the "SUBMIT" button. (there is no obligation!)
Step 6: I will email you to confirm your order and will include a cost summary with shipping.
Step 7: I will hold your grip and stick materials for up to 15 days. When I receive payment, your custom stock stick will be hand-crafted within 2-3 business days, not including holidays and weekends.
I can custom cut any length up to a maximum of 47". Individual herding venues have specific requirements on materials and maximum length of the stock stick that can, and cannot, be taken onto the competitive field. Check the requirements for the venue that you participate in for guidance. All venues permit fiberglass and graphite shafts but most have maximum length restrictions. Stick length is primarily a matter of personal preference, and sometimes for specific training purposes. However, for most applications you can use the following guide:
***Stand on a level surface or floor and bend your elbow level across your waist as if you are holding a cup. Measure from the floor to the top of your fist and add 1"-2". This measurement should be close to the measurement based on your height:
Up to 5' 5": Approximate length 43"-45"
From 5' 6" to 5' 8": Approximate length 45"-47"
5' 8" or taller: Approximate length 46"-47"
The "average" stock stick length, for most people, is about 45" in length.
**Stock Sticks less than 43" can be used as a training target stick but probably would not be as effective for all aspects of livestock handling. Because of the higher shipping surcharges for box lengths longer than 48", I no longer cut stick lengths longer than 47" (to accommodate a 48" box).
4. How does the length of my stock stick effect shipping costs?
Your shipping costs depend on your delivery address, and the weight and length of the shipping box. I ship up to 7 stock sticks in 3" diameter heavy duty shipping BOXES.
****I no longer ship in shipping tubes because of the high surcharges that UPS and USPS add for those.
Email me for more information about combining orders so that you can get the best shipping rate.
5. What is the maximum number of sticks that can be shipped in the same shipping box?
I can put up to 7 stock sticks in one shipping box.
6. Can you ship separate orders in the same shipping box?
Yes, just note that it is a "Consolidated Order" on the Order Blank. I can ship up to 7 sticks in a shipping box. Currently shipping BOXES are not charged the additional surcharge as shipping tubes are.
7. Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes, I can ship to most countries that UPS, USPS or FedEx serves but shipping costs can be prohibitive.
8. Can I place a bulk order for resale for my dog related business?
My focus is to offer custom stock sticks directly to individual herdsmen/shepherds. That is why I have declined to sell on eBay, Etsy, Amazon or any third party vendor, or markup retail resellers for their dog related business. I offer over 50 choices of grips, 3 stick colors and custom cut lengths to give individuals full flexibility to have a custom product.
NOTE*** If you own a dog related business, I appreciate your recommendation to your clients and students so that they can place their own individual custom order.
9. Do you offer stock stick discounts for trial prizes?
I offer discounts to officially sanctioned Trial hosts that want to award 10 or more stock sticks as trial prizes. Please contact me for more information as to how to place a special order in support of organized trial or venue events and are that are -not- intended for resale.
